What Maria B Says About Drama ‘Barzakh’

Since the drama series ‘Barzakh’ aired, it has sparked controversy for its alleged agenda to promote same-sex relations in society.

Maria B, an A-list designer, has been very vocal against the drama, believing it attempts to promote obscenity and LGBTQ themes. The designer and activist has openly spoken out against the promotion of LGBTQ content in the country, emphasizing her stance against exposing society and children to queer themes.

She expressed her concerns about ‘Barzakh,’ claiming that the team behind the series has tried to promote an LGBTQ agenda, normalize pre-marital sex, and introduce themes of sexual grooming in children.

Maria B referred to a previous statement by Fawad Khan, where he mentioned that people would get used to gay love in media, asserting that such normalization would never happen. “We will stand against these agendas and stop all of this from spreading amongst our kids,” she stated.

‘Barzakh’ is a new series directed by Asim Abbasi, featuring a star-studded cast including Fawad Khan, Sanam Saeed, and Salman Shahid. Despite its creative ambition, the show has faced significant backlash from critics like Maria B for its controversial themes.
