Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin Welcome Their First Child, Reveal Baby’s Name
Hailey and Justin Bieber have some exciting news to share!
The music superstar took to Instagram on Friday, August 23rd, to announce the arrival of their baby, posting an adorable photo of the newborn’s foot. “Welcome Home Jack Blues Bieber,” Justin captioned the sweet image.
The couple first revealed they were expecting back in early May, with Hailey sharing a vintage-style video on Instagram of the two renewing their vows in Hawaii. She wore a form-fitting lace dress by Saint Laurent that highlighted her baby bump, tagging her husband in the caption without any additional words.
In an interview with W magazine, Hailey later confirmed that she shared the pregnancy news when she was already in her second trimester. “I didn’t have a belly, really, until I was six months pregnant, which was when I announced it. I was able to wear big jackets and stuff,” she explained.
Hailey also mentioned the relief she felt after going public with the news: “I didn’t enjoy the stress of not being able to enjoy my pregnancy outwardly. I felt like I was hiding this big secret, and it didn’t feel good. I wanted the freedom to go out and live my life.”
Throughout her pregnancy, Hailey embraced high-fashion maternity looks. In addition to her Saint Laurent ensemble, she was spotted in a sleek ivory silk satin dress by Phoebe Philo and a nude LaQuan Smith dress paired with an oversized Magda Butrym blazer.
Since their marriage in 2018, the Biebers were frequently asked about their plans for children. Both Hailey and Justin expressed a desire to wait until the time felt right. Justin, in particular, mentioned on Ellen DeGeneres’ show that while he was excited to be a father, he would respect Hailey’s wishes regarding the timing and number of children. “I’ll have as many as Hailey wants to have,” Justin said. “I’d love a big family, but it’s her body and her choice.”
Now, it seems that special moment has finally arrived for the Biebers.
