Anti-Terrorism Court Rejects Bail Plea of Amina Arooj in Khalil-ur-Rehman Honey Trap Case

In a significant development in the Khalil-ur-Rehman honey trap case, the Anti-Terrorism Court has rejected the post-arrest bail application of the accused, Amina Arooj.

The hearing, presided over by Judge Arshad Javed of the special Anti-Terrorism Court, took place on Wednesday. Amina Arooj, who stands accused of honey trapping Khalil-ur-Rehman, had filed a bail application seeking her release from custody.

However, after hearing the arguments, the court dismissed her bail plea, ensuring that Amina Arooj remains in custody as the legal proceedings continue.

The prosecution was represented by Advocates Zain Ali Qureshi and Mudassir Chaudhry, who presented compelling arguments that led to the rejection of the bail request.

The case remains under close scrutiny as the court’s decision marks a pivotal moment in the ongoing investigation.
