Pakistan Defeats Japan in Asian Champions Trophy Hockey 2024
Pakistan secured a 2-1 victory against Japan in the Asian Champions Trophy Hockey Tournament 2024 held in China on Wednesday.
Nadeem Ahmad opened the scoring for Pakistan in the first quarter, but Japan equalized in the second quarter. In the 10th minute of the second quarter, Safian Khan netted the decisive goal, giving Pakistan the lead and ultimately the win.
This marks Pakistan’s first victory in the tournament, providing a boost to their campaign in the competition.
