Sadia Imam Reveals She Didn’t Wear Her Own Bridal Dress at Her Wedding
In a surprising revelation, former actor Sadia Imam shared an unexpected mishap from her wedding day. During a recent appearance on ARY Digital’s Good Morning Pakistan with host Nida Yasir, Imam recalled how her bridal dress was destroyed in a fire at her boutique just before the wedding.
“I was devastated because the dress was in my mother’s favourite colour combination,” Imam explained.
She continued, “I had created a similar colour combination for another client, so I reached out to her for pictures of her dress to try and replicate mine. But to my surprise, she graciously offered me her dress, as her wedding was scheduled after mine.”
Imam wore the client’s dress on her wedding day and later had an identical dress made for her. Reflecting on the incident, she shared, “Whenever I see my wedding dress, which I’ve kept for my daughter Meerab, I always say a little prayer for that kind girl.”
Sadia Imam married Adnan Haider in 2013, and the couple shares a daughter, Meerab.
