Produced by Coke Studio Season 15’s curator Zulfiqar Jabbar Khan, known as Xulfi, Piya Piya Calling has captivated audiences worldwide with its dynamic fusion of cultural elements, irresistible beats, and an iconic collaboration with the renowned dance group Quick Style. Founded by Norwegian-Pakistani twins and their Norwegian-Thai friend, Quick Style’s participation added a distinct cross-cultural flavor to the song, which resonated widely in both Pakistan and Norway.
Xulfi took to Instagram to share the exciting news, expressing gratitude for the song’s reception and acknowledging the influence of P3, Norway’s leading radio station. “We didn’t know this timeline could exist in our lives,” he commented, thanking fans for their overwhelming support.
The track brought together an extraordinary ensemble, including Norway’s popular duo Karpe, singer Delara, and Pakistan’s rising star Kaifi Khalil.
