Bollywood icons Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have delighted fans by sharing the first photo of their baby daughter along with her name: Dua Padukone Singh. In a heartwarming Instagram post, the couple explained the meaningful choice, captioning the photo, “Dua Padukone Singh | दुआ पादुकोण सिंह ‘Dua’: meaning a Prayer. Because She is the Answer to our Prayers. Our hearts are filled with Love & Gratitude. Deepika & Ranveer.”

Deepika and Ranveer welcomed their daughter on September 8 at HN Reliance Hospital, marking a new chapter for the couple who were married in a fairytale ceremony at Lake Como, Italy, in 2018 after six years of dating. They first announced their pregnancy in February with an Instagram post, expressing their excitement to meet their “little bundle of joy.”
On the professional front, the couple recently appeared together in the blockbuster Singham Again, directed by Rohit Shetty and led by Ajay Devgn. The Diwali release also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, and Jackie Shroff.
