Renowned Comedian Sardar Kamal Laid to Rest in Faisalabad
The funeral prayer of renowned stage actor Sardar Kamal was held at Madni Masjid in Batala Colony of his hometown Faisalabad on Thursday.
The event saw a significant turnout from citizens, as well as numerous stage actors, including Naseem Vicky, Qaiser Pia, Agha Majid, and Nasir Chinioti. Popular actor Imran Ashraf also attended the funeral prayers.
Sardar Kamal was laid to rest in the Sharifpura graveyard in Faisalabad. The actor’s death marks a significant loss for the local stage community, and his contributions to the arts will be remembered by many.
The celebrated comedian actor known for his significant contributions to Pakistani cinema and theatre had passed away at the age of 52 on July 30. Kamal, who died of a heart attack, starred in over 30 films, bringing laughter and joy to audiences with his impeccable comedic timing.
His contributions were not limited to films; he also left an indelible mark on the theater scene with his performances in countless stage dramas.
