Shagufta Ejaz Shares Heartfelt Tribute to Late Husband Yahya Siddiqui
Pakistan’s veteran actor Shagufta Ejaz has penned a moving tribute to her late husband, Yahya Siddiqui, just days after his passing. Taking to Instagram on Friday, Ejaz expressed her sorrow and love for her “dearest husband” and the father of their children.
In her emotional post, which included a series of family photos capturing cherished moments, Ejaz wrote, “Though you may be gone, your love, legacy, and memory will forever be etched in my heart and the hearts of our children.”
She reflected on the impact Siddiqui had on her life, saying, “Your presence in our lives was a blessing, and I’m so grateful for the time we had together. Your love, guidance, and support shaped me into the person I am today, and I couldn’t be more thankful.”
Ejaz fondly recalled how Siddiqui was a pillar of strength for their children, stating, “Our children were the lights of your life, and you were their rock, their hero, and their shining example.” She reminisced about the joy he brought to their family, noting, “I remember the way you made us laugh, the way you always knew how to make us feel better, and the way you always put others before yourself. Your selflessness, kindness, and generosity inspired me every day.”
Concluding her heartfelt message, she vowed, “You may be gone, but your memory will live on through our children and me. We’ll continue to celebrate your life, your achievements, and the countless memories we shared together. Rest in peace, my love. I’ll carry you in my heart forever.”
It’s important to note that Ejaz shared the heartbreaking news of Siddiqui’s passing on September 12, following a prolonged battle with cancer. The couple had married in their second marriages; Ejaz has two daughters from her first marriage and shares two daughters with Siddiqui, who also had two sons from a previous union.
