Bollywood A-lister Alia Bhatt made her highly anticipated debut at Paris Fashion Week, joining fellow Indian star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as a global ambassador for a renowned beauty brand. Bhatt dazzled in a custom metal-cast silver bustier by designer Gaurav Gupta, paired with black sharara trousers, making a statement on the runway.
However, despite her fashion-forward ensemble, the internet was less than impressed. Social media users criticized her runway walk, with many claiming she lacked the charisma needed for the high-fashion event.
As a paparazzo shared a video of her walk, captioning it “Alia owns the ramp with her charisma,” commenters quickly disagreed. One user remarked, “Good joke, she looks lost and out of place,” while another commented, “Alia is a good actress, but not supermodel material like Priyanka or Aishwarya.”
Others highlighted the contrast between Bhatt and other models, with one stating, “How can you expect to see a 5’3 actress between 5′10 models? She looks overshadowed.”
On the film front, Bhatt is gearing up for the release of her next action-thriller Jigra, set to hit theaters on October 11, during the Dussehra festival.
