Naveen Waqar Vows to Return to Screen but Awaits a “Good” Script
Noted actress Naveen Waqar, best known for her role in the hit drama “Humsafar,” has promised her fans a return to television but is holding out for the right script. In a candid conversation on Samaa TV’s show Gup Shup with Vasay Chaudhry, the actress expressed her desire to take on a project that would allow her to learn something new.
During the show, when host Vasay Chaudhry asked what kind of script she was looking for, Naveen humorously responded, “Something good. But you [Vasay Chaudhry] don’t write anything. And even if you do, you don’t include me in the cast.”
Naveen further explained her thoughts, saying, “It’s been a while since I’ve been in the industry and have performed various characters. Now, I’m looking forward to doing a character that can help me grow as an actor and offer something fresh.”
The light-hearted exchange didn’t end there, as both Vasay Chaudhry and fellow guest Iftikhar Thakur acknowledged Naveen with compliments in the form of mesmerising poetry, adding a charming touch to the conversation.
