Azra Mansoor Praises Mawra Hocane While Discussing Her Role in Jafaa

Pakistani veteran actress Azra Mansoor recently appeared on YouTube show hosted by Rabia Mughni, where she opened up about her experience working with actress Mawra Hocane and shared insights on the television fraternity’s concerns regarding her behavior.

During the conversation, Azra expressed her admiration for Mawra, stating, “Mawra has performed so well in the recent episode. I really have fallen in love with her; she is such a beautiful person.” Despite receiving warnings about Mawra’s attitude on set, Azra remained optimistic. “Someone from the fraternity warned me about her, saying, ‘So! You are working with Mawra Hocane; let’s see how long you will go together because Mawra is a tough person.’ I got scared a bit but thought I would be even more loving and caring towards Mawra,” she shared. Azra emphasized that Mawra is actually “an amazing person to work with,” adding that she discussed these concerns with Mawra as well.

Azra also spoke about her ongoing drama serial Jafaa, praising the talented cast. “Jafaa is doing so well, MashaAllah, and I am getting an amazing response. I enjoyed working with all the actors, including Mohib, Mawra, Usman, and Sehat; they are all brilliant. Especially Sehar Khan, who was a darling and proved herself to be a fantastic actress,” she noted.

While discussing her character in Jafaa, Azra revealed that her character, Hassan’s grandmother, is aware of his past and the reality surrounding it, expressing her feelings during several events. However, she refrained from disclosing any details about upcoming episodes.

Azra Mansoor, known for her remarkable performances in notable dramas such as Ankahi, Sunehre Din, Alif Allah Aur Insan, and Sabaat, has made a significant mark in the industry. Currently, she is enjoying her role in Hum TV’s hit serial Jafaa and also appears in Geo TV’s Dil E Nadaan.

In her personal life, Azra is happily married to an Army officer and is a proud mother, with her children settled in their lives.
