Salman Khan Devastated After Close Friend Baba Siddique Shot Dead in Mumbai

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has been left heartbroken following the tragic death of his close friend, NCP leader Baba Siddique, who was shot and killed in Mumbai. Siddique, widely known for hosting grand Iftar dinners, was fatally wounded after being shot three times in the chest. He was rushed to Lilavati Hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival.

Salman Khan, deeply affected by the news, rushed to the hospital shortly after hearing about Siddique’s death. According to Indian media reports, the Wanted actor has been devastated by the loss and has struggled to sleep since the tragic incident.

A source close to the Bollywood star revealed, “Salman Khan is in a lot of pain after losing his dear friend Baba Siddique. He was not just a friend, but like family to him.” The source added that Salman has been actively involved in making arrangements for the funeral, and has cancelled all his personal meetings for the next few days.

Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang has reportedly claimed responsibility for the killing through a Facebook post, citing Siddique’s association with Salman Khan and underworld figures as the motive behind the attack.

In light of this, security around Salman Khan’s residence, Galaxy Apartments, has been heightened, with additional personnel deployed to protect the actor.

The Khan family has requested friends and well-wishers to refrain from visiting Salman during this difficult time.

Baba Siddique, 65, was a prominent Muslim political figure in Maharashtra, serving as minister for Labor, FDA, and Minister of State for Food and Civil Supplies. However, he was best known for his sociable persona and lavish annual Iftar parties, which were attended by numerous celebrities and political figures.
